My childbirth classes are consumer based and dedicated to the mom/couple.  I strive to give information and support to enable them to learn of their many options so they can make their own individual decisions.  I teach and use information and insight from methods such as ICEA, Bradley, Lamaze, and more in order to give each couple a full spectrum of choices and a huge "bag of tricks" to help comfort and assist the mother and thus produce a more satisfying birth          experience.

You will learn the basics:

• The birthing process


• Lamaze breathing techniques


• Relaxation and massage techniques


• The pros and cons of pain medication

• Write your own personalized birth plan and learn to how to handle situations that differ from your plan


• Learn positioning techniques to facilitate the labor  process


• Grow more confident in your own ability to work with the birthing process


• Be aware of all current birthing options and new ideas for having a smoother labor such as the birth ball and the use of a doula.

• Couples that are on the second time around(+) will also discover new information and are encouraged to attend.

Class Fee: $55/per couple

Monday evenings from 6:30-9:00pm
Session III: June 7-July 12
Session IV: Weekend class! June 5-June 26(9am-noon)
Session V: August 11- September 5
