| he Shasta Celtic Society was formed in 1996 with the express intention of promoting and celebrating the music, customs, dress, and ancestral links to the Celtic world. |
| t is our aim to bring to the greater Shasta-Cascade area of Northern California the very best in Celtic entertainment in the form of musical groups, bagpipe bands, re-enactment groups, and so on. We also plan to sponsor a variety of Celtic culture classes including crafts and music. |
| ne of the primary goals of the Society is to present an annual Celtic Festival in our area. We also serve as a conduit of information, passing along items of interest to our members and those on our mailing list, promoting any events that may be of interest to our members and to the community in general. |
| oward these ends, we invite you to become a member of the Shasta Celtic Society! Membership benefits include: discounts on tickets to Society events, a quarterly newsletter listing Celtic events around the region, members-only events, and a chance to participate in bringing Celtic culture to this area. |
