IdleHour Stud began its breeding program in 1989 with the purchase of the Cleveland Bay stallion *Ramblers Renown and a band of Thoroughbred broodmares with both produce and performance records. The farm's established goal was, and remains today, to produce both partbred and purebred Cleveland Bay sport horses. In 1994, IdleHour imported purebred fillies and the young stallion *Ramblers Richard Lionheart, thus completing the basis for the Stud's bloodstock. The horses resulting from this breeding program can be found throughout North America excelling in dressage, driving, combined training, and fox hunting.
