PARTBRED CLEVELAND BAYS

IdleHour Slippers - 1990 RR/TB filly. Her dam, Sneakers, was an eventer competing at the Intermediate level who carried her owner to win the Leading Lady Event Rider of the Year in Canada. Slippers has ribbons in the hunter ring, both flat and fences, as well as at her first combined test. Slippers was broken to drive and then shown lightly and successfully summer of 1995 as a hunter. She then hunted with Elkridge-Harford 1995-96 season. Winner at Rose Tree Hunter Trials. She is currently hunting and would be a superb event mare. She is16 h. and in foal to *Ramblers Richard Lionheart for 2003. The full sister to this expected foal was sold in 2002 at 2 days of age.

IdleHour Sorceress - SOLD - 15.3 h. Filly foaled 4/26/94.CB/TB out of The Dreamer. Full sister to IdleHour Mystic, 1995 Reserve Champion Cleveland Bay in North America earning her points in dressage, combined training, and in the hunter ring. Mystic now hunts regularly with Old Dominion Hunt and is being successfully competed in dressage and combined training and at hunter trials. Sorceress is a proven broodmare having foaled in 1997. Hunted a full season in 1999/2000. Always in the ribbons.

Bella Donna Ashton - SOLD - 3/99 3/4-Cleveland Bay colt (*Ramblers Richard Lionheart x IdleHour Music by *Ramblers Renown). Winner 1999 Cleveland Bay Sport Horse class for all ages at Morven Park Spring Dressage Show and winner of his Foal Class at Clark Country, VA. Winner under saddle and currently hunting. Should mature at 16.2h, very correct, well handled.

Paddington - SOLD - 1998, 17. h. bay gelding CB/TB (*Ramblers Richard Lionheart x Sportique). Paddington was in the first crop by Lionheart.  He has his sire's good looks, tractable disposition, and athletic ability. Paddington is now in his first year of hunting. He is a very good jumper; he is bold enough to be a Master's or staff horse.  Since he is a good mover, he could carry you very handily as an event horse.

Rambler's Snowy River - 1999 17. h. roan gelding CB/TB (*Ramblers Renown x Lead Flight). Snowy is a full brother to the IdleHour stallion, IdleHour Night Flight. Snowy is under saddle in the ring and cross country and willingly jumping small fences.  Two of Snowy's sisters are hunting on the East Coast. Snowy is exceptionally well balanced, is a very good mover, and will be a very able jumper.

A Word About the Cleveland Bay Sires:

*Ramblers Renown - 16.2 h. Many Cleveland Bay Partbreds and Purebreds are by the IdleHour stallion, Ramblers Renown (RR). Rambler events, shows, hunts, and many of his produce drive successfully in competition. Many have compiled impressive wins in dressage, combined training, advanced driving, and hunter trials. One daughter was an approved IHS Sport Horse mare at three years, and another won the British Columbia Breeders Classic out of 242 entries for performance at three years. Sire of the nationally acclaimed 3rd level dressage horse IdleHour McHenry. Rambler has event ribbons from Gladstone and Lexington as well as many hunter ribbons and wins in dressage and combined tests at training level. Rambler was retired sound from competition at the end of the 1994 hunter trial season after a Reserve Championship at The Beaufort Hunter Trials, a Championship at Rose Tree Hunter Trials, and a win at the prestigious Elkridge-Harford Hunter Trials. Renown has over the last few years compiled the most wins of any stallion in Hunter Trial Competition.

*Ramblers Richard Lionheart - 17.1+ h. Cleveland Bay stallion, 1993. Lionheart is a strikingly handsome stallion with amazing lightness of movement. Lionheart is consistently producing both his size and movement in addition to his kind disposition. He is under saddle lightly as the breeding season permits. *Ramblers Richard Lionheart's bookings for 2002 are a testimony to his popularity among breeders of sport horses. Lionheart's produce are doing esxceptionally well in hand as sport horses and his first foals are now foxhunting

IdleHour Yorktown - Cleveland Bay stallion foaled 1996. Yorktown, by *Ramblers Renown out of *Holmside Spring Rose, is bred to be an outstanding young sire and was awarded the British Society's Quality Approval as a two year old. He has been placed both as a non-TB hunter and as a Sport Horse at age 2 yrs. and 3 yrs. showing in hand. Winner of the Alexander Mackay-Smith Cleveland Bay Trophy at the Morven Park Spring Dressage and Breed Show, May 2000. Yorktown's first purebred Cleveland Bay filly foal arrived March 2000. She is very correct and an outstanding example of the Cleveland Bay horse. His partbreds look to be horses of considerable quality. Yorktown is under saddle and shows the talent of his proven sire and dam.

IdleHour Night Flight - Night Flight, by *Ramblers Renown out of Lead Flight (TB), is a handsome grey stallion standing 16.3 h. Night Flight has excellent genetic potential to produce outstanding athletes. His sire, *Ramblers Renown, is indisputably proven; his dam, Lead Flight, was an Allowance winner at distance and has proven herself as one of IdleHour's most valuable broodmares. Night Flight received good ribbons his two year old year at the Upperville Horse Show and as a young Sport Horse. His first foals arrived April 2000 showing his ability to stamp his get with his color and conformation. He is lightly under saddle.

Her full sister, Holmside April Rose, was first at The Royal and also at Great Yorkshire Shows in 1996; today she coontinues to add to her list of Purebred young stock championships. Spartan Anthony, winner of the coveted King George Cup, is a regular in the hunt field. Here dam, Stainmore Royal Rose, is a Grade A Status mare. In foal to *Ramblers Richard Lionheart for 2003.

*Earlswood First Edition - 15.1h. Laughton Saladin X Fryup Makepeace. In foal in foal to *Ramblers Richard Lionheart
for 2003. Dam of Idlehour Raindance, 1997. Laughton Saladin has been awarded his Society's Premium for the thirteenth year in a row and still continues to win Cleveland Bay Championships.

*Forion Branwan - Forest Saga X Healerton Lucerene. Dam of Idlehour Jade, 1997, and Iddlehour Day Break, 1998. 16 h. Forest Saga, three years Champion Stallion and life Premium stallion. A proven producer of broodmares throughout his career and sire of Moelion Arthur, winner of the coveted King George V Cup. Under saddle. Branwan is to be used by Pegasus Equine Services as an oocyte transfer mare for 2003.

Penhryn Enchantress - SOLD - Queenbury Hussar X Penhryn Brocade. Driven lightly and hunting. Produced a young stallion prospect, IdleHour Independence, by *Ramblers Renown. 17.2 h. Queenbury Hussar holds a Life Premium and is sire of the Premium Stallion, Penhryn Tsar.
